TELEPHONE CALL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To enable a person not familiar with a facsimile equipment to execute communication by providing a 16Hz ringing signal generating circuit in a facsimile equipment, thereby ringing the bell of a telephone set connected to the equipment. CONSTITUTION:During a FAX transmission of picture signals, the operator on the transmission-side depresses an operator-call SW. When the FAX communication ends and the operator-call arrives, a switch 422 turns to ring-side,and the telephone set immediately made ringing by the 16Hz-ringing signal generating circuit 421. When the called-side operator hooks up the receiver, a hook off detection circuit 423 automatically turns a switch 43 to 'tell' and a switch 422 to a contacting point T1. At this time, a response signal is transmitted to the reception-side and the same action is executed on the reception-side, and hence the bell of the telephone rings. Like on the reception-side, a hook off detection circuit turns all the switches to telephone-side. Consequently, a communication is made possible between the telephones on both sides.
