DIAGNOSTIC REAGENT KIT

PURPOSE:To obtain a diagnostic kit capable of rapid and exact examination by a simple operation, by laminating tow sheet like base materials one of which is transparent and providing a reagent receiving space and a liquid specimen introducing part for introducing a liquid specimen into said space from the outside between said base materials. CONSTITUTION:The cuttable notch part 7 provided to the introducing part 3 of a diagnostic reagent kit 1 is bent and a cell part 2 is communicate with the outside through an introducing pipe 3'. The kit 1 is turned upside down while a transparent plate 6 having elasticity is lightly pressed and fallen from the part above a liquid specimen receiving container and the leading end of the introducing pipe 3' is immersed in a liquid specimen. When the pressing of the transparent plate 6 is released, suction force is generated by the recovery force of the transparent plate 6 and the liquid specimen is sucked up into a cell 4 through the introducing pipe 3'. Hereupon, the kit 1 is lightly shaken and the sensitized latex in the cell 4 is mixed with the specimen under stirring. When the antigen (or antibody) corresponding to the antibody (or antigen) in the latex is present in the liquid specimen, an agglutinated lump is formed by antigen-antibody reaction and, if absent, no agglutinated lump is formed. This state is certainly judged through the transparent plate 6 against an opaque plate 5.
