CONSTITUTION:In a CATV system connecting in cascade amplifiers A1-AN with AN+1- having the different pilot frequency, to a connecting part where the frequency is changed, a frequency converter 3 is used in which the pilot frequency is converted to the desired frequency, but the pilot signal level is the level of the new frequency signal as it is. As the frequency converter 3, for example, the device composed of a local oscillator 4 having a frequency fL and a mixer 5 is used.
