METHOD OF COLLECTING FILLING MATERIAL OF DOUBLE SHELL STORING TANK

PURPOSE:To collect filling material with out scattering by providing a water circulation circuit comprising a cooling water supply device, a perlite separating device, an exhaust pipe and a keeping cool layer of a storing tank, and circulating water in the circuit to collect filling material. CONSTITUTION:A closed circuit is formed by a cooling water supply device 5 comprising a tank 5b having a water supply pipe 5d, a water supply pump 5a and a discharge pipe 5c, a perlite separating device 6, an exhaust pipe 7, and a keeping cool layer 2 of a storing tank 1. When the water supply pump 5a is operated to pour water in the keeping cool layer 2 of the storing tank 1, water is stored in the keeping cool layer 2. When the level of water in the keeping cool layer 2 comes to a suitable level, and a valve of the exhaust pipe 7 is opened, water in the keeping cool layer 2 is conducted with perlite in the perlite separating device 6. Perlite 3 precipitated in the separating device 6 is strained, and the dehydrated and reduced in volume to be suitably handled.
