INVERTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve coordination between line sped and the timing of releasing negative pressure by setting the timing of releasing negative pressure for an adsorbing cup based on the rotating angular velocity of a driving shaft and switching a solenoid valve based on a turn arm position detecting signal to release negative pressure, in an inverting device for an adsorbing cup type panel, etc. CONSTITUTION:A rotary encoder 33 is rotated by the rotation of a driving shaft 21 while, at the same time, main shafts 1 are intermittently rotated by means of chains 24, 26, a shaft 25, etc. Meanwhile, a negative pressure from an unshown vacuum generating device is fed to vacuum cups 4 via unexcited solenoid valves 31A. On the other hand, a control part 34 sets a rotation speed range for the optimum timing for releasing negative pressure, based on the rotating angular velocity of the shaft 21 outputted from the encoder 33, and outputs a shifting timing signal R1-R4 to a line control unit 35. The control unit 35 excites the solenoid valves 31A based on an inputted turn arm position detecting signal 32, to shut off the negative pressure. Thereby, by optimum timing can be obtained.
