PRORUCTION OF COAL WATER SLURRY IN HIGH CONCENTRATION AT TRANSPORTATION END OF COAL WATER SLURRY

PURPOSE:To obtain a slurry in high concentration, by centrifuging a coal water slurry with low centrifugal force to remove primary coal grains, centrifuging the resultant slurry with higher centrifugal force, concentrating and mixing the resultant secondary coal grains and slurry and recovering almost the total amount of coal in the raw material slurry for use. CONSTITUTION:A coal water slurry is first centrifuged with low centrifugal force in the transportation end thereof and separated into the oversize primary coal grains and undersize primary coal water slurry, which is then centrifuged with high centrifugal force and separated into secondary coal grains as a filter cake and secondary coal water slurry as a filtrate. The above-mentioned secondary slurry is then concentrated in a thickener and separated into a supernantant liquid and tertiary coal water slurry. The second coal grains are then added to the third coal water slurry to afford the aimed coal water slurry in high concentration.
