PURPOSE:To prevent any dust from adhering to the edges of an electric razor during the time when the razor is not in use by installing a charging block in an under cover, which is attached to the opening of a body case and making power source connecting prongs to project and retreat freely from the under cover. CONSTITUTION:A case 1 for the body of an electric razor is made of a molded synthethic resin, and an under cover 6 is attached to an opening 5 of the lower end surface of the body so that it can protrude and retreat freely. A charging transformer 7 and an electric wiring base plate are attached inside the cover 6. On ribs 11 and 11 which are provided on the inner bottom of the cover 6, power source connecting prongs 13 and 13, the hind ends of which are fixed to an insulating member 12 and which extend forward from the material 12 parallel to the member 1, and installed so that they can be moved freely. An operation piece 14 is provided on the side surface of the member 12 so that the prongs 13 and 13 are moved forward and backward through the operation of the piece 14. An annular ditch 17 is formed around the inner periphery of the opening 5. A waterproof rubber ring 18 is attached to the inner periphery of the opening 5, and is made to touch the cover 6. Contacts 20 and 21 are provided on the inner surface of the case 1, and they are linked to the movement of the cover 6 so as to make the output of a charging battery 4 to turn on and off.
