Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain spectra of all ions produced from a sample in a shorter analysis tube and in a shorter time, by furnishing plural ion mirrors between an ion source and a collector, and making ions radiated from the ion source go and return between the mirrors,to improve their resolving power. CONSTITUTION:In respect to electric potential, it is arranged that 3KV is at the voltage at mirrors electrode 15, 1.4 to 1.6KV at mirror lenses 14, and 0V at ion mirror earth slits 13, when the ion accelerating voltage at the ion source is 3KV. Therefore,the incident ion beam 2 to an ion mirror 4 is slowed down about half speed near the ion mirror lens slit, and becomes zero speed at the ion mirror electrode 15, where the ion is accelerated again by an accelerating voltage of 3KV, and radiated to the next ion mirror 4. By furnishing a deflector 16 in front of an ion mirror 4 to convert the locus of the ion, plural ion mirrors 4 make ions repeat to go and return, and the travel distance of ions is increased 10 times to 50 times in a short analysis tube, to get a high resolving power. Therefore,the ion locus is extended tremendously and a high resolving power can be acquired.
