Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To purify the titled protein stably, by using an aqueous two-phase distribution liquid consisting of mixed aqueous solutions of polyethylene glycol and an inorganic salt by a continuous distribution fractionation device, by distributing physiologically active protein into a polyethylene glycol phase preferentially. CONSTITUTION:5-20wt% aqueous solution of polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 500-20,000 is mixed with 0.2-2.0mol aqueous solution of sodium or potassium salt (e.g., sodium phosphate) of a polyvalent ion to give a two- phase separated solution wherein the solution is separated into the top and bottom phases. One of the phases as a stationary liquid is previously fed to the column cartridge 7, a rotor is rotated. The other phase as a mobile phase layer is sent by the pump 2, a test solution is simultaneously injected through the syringe 3 to it, passed through a stationary phase through the top rotary joint 5 for sending liquid, and discharged from the bottom rotary joint 4 for sending liquid, so that physiologically active living high polymers are continuously distributed and fractionated, to purify physiologically active protein (e.g., human serum albumin).
