Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a light accumulative plate material excellent in fire retardancy, by applying a mixture of an electron beam curable resin and a substance having light accumulating and phosphorescent properties to a plate and irradiating the coating layer with electron beam. CONSTITUTION:A substance 2 having light accumulating and phosphorescent properties is mixed with a resin material 3 such as an acrylic resin cured by the irradiation of electron beam and the resulting mixture is applied to a plate material 1 coming to a base layer. If necessary, carbonate, hydroxide, sulfate or a mixture thereof decomposed and absorbing heat by heating is preliminarily applied to the plate material 1 to make it possible to also applying fire retardant treatment to said plate material 1. The film after coating is irradiated with electron beam to be cured.
