Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which does not cause environmental pollution and gives molded products having excellent mechanical characteristics and resistance to flame and tracking, by blending an epoxy resin with aluminum hydroxide powder and a short inorg. fiber. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin (A) having at least two epoxy groups per molecule (e.g., a bisphenol A type epoxy resin) is blended with 40-80wt% (based on the amount of the compsn.) of the combined amount of 40-80wt% aluminum hydroxide powder (B) having a particle size of 0.1-2.0mu and 60-20wt% short inorg. fiber (C) having a length of 10-1,000mu, such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, asbestos or whisker.
