Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent two paper sheets from being fed simultaneously when stacked paper sheets are lifted up under vacuum absorption for supply, by forming scrape-off claws in the front end parts of paper aligning guides. CONSTITUTION:When a paper sheet 4a is lifted up by being absorbed by a vacuum absorption pad 19. a paper sheet 4b just below the former paper sheet 4a is sometimes also lifted up by being stuck to the paper sheet 4a due to static electricity or the like. In such a case, the paper sheets 4a, 4b which are curved, are released by means of the stepped parts of scrape-off claws 18a, 18f slightly projected inward, as if they are turned by human fingers, and therefore, they are separated from each other. At this time the paper sheets 4a, 4b are caught to the scrape-off claws 8a, 8f formed in paper aligning guides 6a, 6f, and therefore, the paper sheet 4b which is not yet absorbed under vacuum is alone scraped off by these scrape-off claws.
