FACSIMILE STORE AND FORWARD EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To contrive the efficient operation of facsimile equipments by informing a facsimile terminal which made a communication that the communication is ended abnormally by voice. CONSTITUTION:When the communication is ended abnormally during the reception of a telegraphic message from a facsimile equipment 3, a facsimile store and forward exchange 1 analyzes the cause of the abnormality by a communication state monitoring equipment 20 and when that needs to be reported to the terminal side judging from the reference of the communication state monitoring equipment 20, a message generating device 30 informs the transmission-side telephone set 4 of the communication abnormality by voice. Further, if the communication is ended abnormally during the transmission of a telegraphic message from the facsimile equipment 5, the communication state monitoring equipment 20 analyzes the cause of the abnormality and when that needs to be reported to the terminal side judging from the reference of the communication state monitoring equipment, the message generating device 30 informs the reception-side telephone set 4 of the abnormality of the communication. Consequently, facsimile equipments are put in efficient operation.
