Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To permanently maintain an artistic and fancy color by sticking an acidifying substance to the surface of a brass material to selectively dezincify the surface and by applying a discoloration inhibitor at the time when the desired color is developed. CONSTITUTION:An acidifying substance contg. an inorg. acid is stuck to the whole or a part of the surface of a brass material to cause selective dezincification action and a chromatic substance having a special color blend is produced on the surface of the brass material by the action. A discoloration inhibitor such as 'Inkurarakku(R)' prepd. by blending acrylic resin with benzotriazole is then applied to permanently maintain the developed color. By this method, a brass material having a color effect for craftwork, building materials and furniture is obtd.
