PRINTING HEAD OF WIRE DOT PRINTER

PURPOSE:To contrive a higher printing speed without causing a lowering in a printing impact force or breakage of a printing wire, by providing a connecting mechanism for oscillatably connecting an end of the print wire with a driving part. CONSTITUTION:A part of a print wire 5 on the side of an end 5a is fitted in a bottomed hole 16 so that the end 5a makes contact with a leaf spring 1. The size of a through-hole 15 is so set that the wire 5 can be oscillated leftward and rightward within an angle theta of several degrees each, and the hole 16 is filled with a non-hardenable adhesive 17. When the wire 5 is driven by a driving part 18, the wire 5 tends to be bent between an armature 12 and a wire guide 6a. However, since the part of the wire 5 near the end 5a can be oscillated in the hole 16 within an angle of 2theta, the radius of curvature in bending is large, and the angle of inclination of the wire 5 in the wire guides 6a, 6b is small.
