Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To maintain the uniformity of coloring for a long period when an anodic oxide film on an Al material is electrolytically colored in an electrolytic soln. contg. a tin salt, by using stainless steel counter electrodes. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic soln. 2 contg. a tin salt is filled into an electrolytic cell 1 and plural counter electrodes 3 are immersed in the soln. 2. Stainless steel pipes are used as the counter electrodes 3. An anodic oxide film on Al is subjected to AC electrolytic coloring in the electrolytic cell 1 by a conventional method. Since the stainless steel counter electrodes 3 are not stripped or damaged even after use for a long period, the uniformity of electrolytic coloring can be maintained for a long period.
