Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent a jam of copying paper, by preventing a paper feed cassette or an intermediate tray, when its take-out is intended by the operator from a paper feed cassette mounting part, from being taken out and protecting the copying paper in a copying process when a copying machine is in a paper feed mode. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed cassette mounting part 4, which can be mounted and removed in a direction at a right angle with the conveying direction of copying paper, is mounted to the inside of a copying machine main unit. Further said paper feed cassette mounting part 4 mounts an intermediate tray 3, which can be mounted and removed only when the paper feed cassette mounting part 4 is drawn out from the inside of the copying machine man unit, while secures a baffle plate 5. And a stopper 7, which acts mechanically interlocking to a paper feed roller 6 of a paper feeder C when it starts the copying paper to be fed, is provided. Said stopper 7, which is engaged with the baffle plate 5, operates so as to prevent the paper feed cassette mounting part 4, which mounts the intermediate tray 3, from being taken out.
