Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve the channel utilizing efficiency in a frame by providing a partition line in a frame to distinguish a channel assigning area for a high-speed terminal equipment from that for a medium speed terminal equipment to suppress the generation of a tooth-missing unused channel not assigned for a high-speed terminal equipment in the frame. CONSTITUTION:In starting a communication equipment l, a channel management section 19 sends a signal to a partition setting section 17 to set a partition line 14 at a position apart from a head (a) on a frame 10 by a boundary value (m) thereby determining a MA (medium-speed channel assigning area) 12 and a HA (high-speed channel assigning area) 13. In receiving a channel assignment request from a medium-speed terminal equipment 15 or a high-speed terminal equipment 16, an assignment processing section 18 discriminates the terminal equipment speed, and when the speed is medium, the section 18 check whether or not an idle channel exists from the head (a) of the frame 10 of the MA 12 to the m channel, and in case of the presence, the idle channel is assigned and the answer end is returned to the channel management section 19. In case of the high-speed terminal equipment, whether or not an idle n channel exists consecutively from a rear end (b) of the frame 10 to the (m+1)-th channel is checked, and in case of the presence, the consecutive idle n channel is assigned and the answer of the end of assignment is returend. |
