APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY INSPECTING ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To perform continuous inspection and to enhance inspection efficiency, by vertically providing reflecting mirrors between the center of revolution and articles to be inspected while the articles to be inspected are continuously fed around the center of revolution at a constant interval centering around one point. CONSTITUTION:Bottles B continuously supplied through a conveyor 1, a bottle guide 2 and a star wheel 3 are received in bottle receivers 8(81-824). The bottle receivers 8 are provided on a turntable 4 and revolve around the center 00 to receive the bottles B continuously supplied onto the locus separated by a radius (r) from the center 00 at a constant interval. Thereafter, the bottles B are inspected by a camera C0 to be discharged through the star wheel 5 and bottle guide 6 in an outlet side and a good product BG is moved to the next process through a conveyor 71 while an inferior product BN is guided to an inferior product conveyor 72 through the inferior product distributor mounted in the wheel 5 to be transferred to an inferior product pool apparatus. Reflecting mirrors 91-924 are equally arranged on the turntable 4 at the middle points between the center 00 and the bottle receivers 8. Each of the reflecting mirrors 91-924 forms a virtual image wherein the center of each bottle B transferred to each bottle receiver 8 coincides with the center 00.
