WHEEL MADE OF FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN

PURPOSE:To correctly detect the replacing time of a wheel through the gradual reduction of the pneumatic pressure of the tire by forming the hollow parts which extend in linear form and whose both edges communicate to the inner space of the tire and outside air, into the thick parts of the prescribed parts of a wheel. CONSTITUTION:A tire 2 is installed onto the outer peripheral side of the rim part 1a of a FRP wheel 1, and a tire inner space 3 is formed by the outer peripheral surface 1b of the rim part 1a and the inner surface 2a of the tire 2. With such constitution, a hollow part 4 extending in linear from is formed into the thick part of the rim part 1a. In the hollow part 4, two stripes 4a and 4b are formed in the lateral symmetry so as to extend towards the center part from the both outermost side parts of the rim part 1a in the direction along the sectional surface of the rim part 1a. Therefore, when a cut is generated from the outside of the wheel 1, the tire inner space 3 and the outside air communicate through the hollow parts 4a and 4b, and the pneumatic pressure of the tire gradually lowers.
