RAW MATERIAL REFORMING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To prevent damage of reaction tube and deterioration of catalyst of reaction part, by using an evaporation part capable of reserving a liquid raw material and directly attaching the evaporation part to the bottom of a reaction part. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of reaction tubes 1 are fixed to an end plate 16 and the end of the tube is closed to form an evaporation part 2 facing opposite to a heat source 33. A raw material such as methanol is evaporated in the evaporation part 2. The reaction tubes 1 are encircled with a shell 4 and a raw material header 5 is placed above the shell. A raw material feeding pipe 3 is passed through the center of each reaction tube 1 and connected to the evaporation part 2. Methanol is forced into the evaporation part 2 through the feeding tube 3, heated with the heat source 33 from below and evaporated. Particles 12 accelerating the evaporation are filled in the upper part of the evaporation part 2 and the evaporated methanol is introduced into a reaction part 31 filled with a reforming catalyst 11.
