METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WASHING AND COLLECTING GAS UNDER AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLED PRESSURE

PURPOSE:To wash gas without exerting the effect of pressure due to an external factor on a gas generation source, by allowing gas to pass through a washing liquid only under pressure obtained when the gas is generated to collect the washed gas. CONSTITUTION:A liquid recirculation pump 11 is operated to supply the washing liquid of an external liquid tank 4 to an internal liquid tank 3, and a gas washing and collecting tank 12 and a liquid level control part 13 are reduced in pressure to raise a liquid level. When the liquid level reaches an upper end set position, a solenoid valve 9 is opened and the washing liquid flows down to the external liquid tank 4 from a flooding pipe 7 to lower the liquid level while gas fills the gas washing and collecting tank 12 and the liquid level control part 13 to lower the liquid level and, when the liquid level reaches a lower end set position, the solenoid valve 9 is closed and the liquid level in the internal liquid tank rises. By this method, the gas passes through the washing liquid as fine gas bubbles from the fine perforations 17 in a protruded part 18 to be exhausted from a gas outlet pipe 19.
