Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To perform fine correction and enable favorable color reproduction, by controlling driving time for heat elements by the period of a strobe signal, counting the number of the head elements to be driven, and varying the period of the strobe signal according to the counted number to correct the driving time for the head elements. CONSTITUTION:A strobe counter 8 counts the number of shift clocks (f) outputted from a pulse generator 1 to a shift register 6, and outputs a strobe pulse (g) which rises at the moment the counter number reaches 512. The width of the strobe pulse (g) is determined by a carry signal (h) from a counter 9, and a latch and driving circuit 7 latches the next driving/non-driving information at the moment of the fall of the strobe pulse (g). Accordingly, driving time for head elements TH-1-TH-512 corresponding to a unit gradation is corrected by the pulse width of the strobe pulse (g). The strobe counter 8 is cleared by the trailing edge of the carrier output (h) from the counter 9, and restarts counting the number of the shift clocks (f). |
