DEHUMIDIFIER FOR MAGNETIC DISK

PURPOSE:To attain stable dehumidification and to reproduce a dehumidifying agent as it is by communicating the device with the inside of a magnetic disk only at dehumidification, drying them and communicating the device with the outside only for drying in reproducing the saturated dehumidifying agent. CONSTITUTION:Holes 10a, 11a of an inner case 10 and an outer case 11 are communicated together with the inside of a magnetic disk, shut off from the outside and the moisture is absorbed by a dehumidifying agent 8 and the drying state is always kept. When it is judged that the agent 8 is saturated, an electromagnet 12 is excited, the inner case 10 is increased by a size (d) to close the holes 10a, 11a in the inside and the holes 11b, 10b are communicated with the outside. In this case, a heater 15 is turned on to heat the agent 8 for drying. The generated vapor is discharged externally via the holes 10b, 10b and the agent 8 is activated. Thus, even when the external humidity is higher than the inside of the magnetic disk 1, the dehumidification is applied to keep the stable drying state.
