NOVEL REMEDY FOR WOUNDS

PURPOSE:A remedy for wounds that contains a specific compound as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The objective remedy contains, as an active ingredient, a compound of formula I (R1 is lower alkanoyl; R2 is H, lower alkanoyloxy; R3 is alkanoyloxy, when R2 is H, or is H, when R2 is alkanoyloxy, lower alkyl, ethenylsulfinyl, 2-chloroethylsulfinyl; A and B incorporate to form CH=CH-O, N=CH-CH=N, formula II-formula IV, when R3 is H, or CH=CH-CH=CH, when R3 is other than H) such as a compound of formula V or VI. The compound shown excellent action to heal wounds and is used in treatment for wounds, frostbites, burns, hemorrhoids and ulcers. It can be mixed with cosmetics in order to repair damaged tissues. It is preferably given parenterally, especially is applied for external use. When it is applied in the form of ointment, the amount of the compound is 10mg-5g a day once or in portions.
