AUTOMATIC CHARGING APPARATUS FOR SNAP RING

PURPOSE:To make E-ring inserting work into a round bar automatable, by installing a device being attached to the top of a base substance so as to be moved to the round bar piercing through a hole of the base substance and feeding and inserting a snap ring into an outer circumferential groove of the round bar. CONSTITUTION:A back pressure claw 20 existing in the position separated from a round bar 17 goes forward in the left derection by a cylinder 16, and the convex part 19 installed in this back pressure claw 20 is inserted into one end of an outer circumferential groove 18 of the round bar 17. Snap rings 12a are stacked up just above a concave part 9 of a holding part 11. Next, an expandable claw 15 is pressed in a slit 10 of the holding part 11 by drive of a cylinder 14. Since the part of a diameter of the expandable claw 15 is set to be larger than width of the slit 10, the tip of the forked hloding part 11 is opened wide. Therefore, a snap ring 12 is charged into the concave part 9 by means of dead load or stacking of these snap rings. Afterward, the cylinder 14 makes the expandable claw 15 retract to the upper part, thus this expandable claw 15 is pulled out of the slit 10.
