Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:A powder coated agent for providing seed for paddy-rice plant for direct sowing in flooded soil, having much improved germination ratio and establishment ratio, containing magnesium peroxide and sodium silicate. CONSTITUTION:A powder coated agent of seed for paddy-rice plant for direct sowing in flooded soil, containing (A) magnesium silicate and (B) sodium silicate. Direct sowing of paddy-rice plant in flooded soil is a method wherein seed is sowed in soil about 1-1.5cm in depth instead of transplanting seedling and the powder coated agent is used for contriving to further improve germination ratio and establishment ratio. The component A quickens emergence of seed of paddy-rice plant at low temperature and the use of the component B stands mechanical shock in seeding to give coated powder which will not release. The component B can suppress growth of microorganisms having unfavorable influence on germination and establishment caused by transient rise in pH.
