VIBRATION-PROOF SUPPORT-BODY

PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration-proof support-body having a suitable damping capacity by providing a lumen at at least one, with its annular end-face left untouched, of the bottom surfaces of the vibration-proof support-body which is a rubber elastic body whose upper and lower bottom surfaces are stuck with metal plates and enclosing fully a viscous-body or a visco-elastic-body into the lumen. CONSTITUTION:The structure is such that metal plates 4, 5 are stuck on the upper and lower bottom surfaces 2, 3 of a rubber elastic body 1 and a bolt 6 for fitting a vibration source to the metal plate 4 is implanted and an idle hole 7 for fitting the metal plate 5 to a base-substance is holed. And at the lower bottom surface 3 of the rubber elastic body 1 with its annular end-face left untouched is opened a lumen 9, into which is filled up a viscous-body or a visco-elastic-body 10. Thus, when the rubber elastic body 1 undergoes repeated deformations caused by vibrations from outside force, the viscous body or the like 10 enclosed in the lumen 9 also comes to suffer from forced deformations, thereby manifesting viscosity effect wherein damping capacity is brought about by the loss of inside energy. Accordingly, an excellent vibration-proof support-body integrating anti-vibration capacity of the rubber elastic body 1 can be realized.
