Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a growth promotor for fishes and an adjustor for fresh water adaptability, by cultivating a bacterium containing recombinant DNA integrated with DNA to code a prolactin polypeptide derivative of fish in a nutritive medium. CONSTITUTION:(A) A DNA fragment containing DNA to code prolactin polypeptide of 1,200bp from plasmid pSPRL1 containing DNA to code prolactin polypeptide of salmon is combined with (B) a DNA fragment containing a terminator part of lpp system of 1,700bp from plasmid pKYP26 and (C) a DNA fragment containing trp type promotor of 1,000bp from plasmid pTrS20 to prepare recombinant DNA (plasmid pSPRLQ and pSPRLQ52). A bacterium (Escherichia coli is preferable) is transformed with the plasmid and the bacterium is cultivated in a medium to form the aimed polypeptide derivative in the culture mixture.
