COILING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To form a good cut surface without by crack by pinching a coil between the lead-out groove of a mandrel and the recessed part of a cutter and by cutting the coil by fixing it. CONSTITUTION:A lead-out groove 16a and cutting blade 16b are formed on the end part of the mandrel 16 of a coiling device. On the other hand a recessed part 18b is formed on the cutting blade 18a at the tip of a cutter 18. A wire 10 is formed in a coil by a die 15 and pitch claw 17 and cut by the cutter 18 when becoming in the prescribed length. In this case, the element wire 10 is cut by being pinched and fixed between the lead-out groove 16a of said mandrel 16 and the recessed part 18b of the cutter 18. In this way, a good cut surface can be formed without any crack, even in case of the sintered metal coil of a tangsten, molybdenum, etc. without unreasonable force being applied on the element wire 10.
