Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase the control range of a compressing displacement, by providing a release passage for returning gas to a suction side with each of 2 cylinders and controlling it by a displacement control valve. CONSTITUTION:There are provided release passages 18a, 18b passing through the walls of 2 cylinders for communicating with cylinder chambers 16, 17, and displacement control valves 19, 20. The displacement control valves 19, 20 cause a portion of the gas subject to compression in the cylinders 16, 17 to return to a release passage 18. With this arrangement, a displacement control range can be increased and a pressure fluctuation of fluid to return to the release passage can be reduced.
