LASER BEAM MACHINE

PURPOSE:To perform the work in uniform shape of the whole body to be worked by a laser beam machining by holding a condensing lens at a fixed distance from a laser beam oscillator by moving in parallel to the axial line of the body to be worked the laser beam oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam is moved upto a (b) point from a (a) point of the body 1 to be worked in the state of rotating the body 1 to be worked by a supporting and rotating device 2, 3. In this case, the condensing lens 11 located at the fixed distance from a laser beam oscillator 6 is moved in parallel to the axial line of the body to be worked together with the laser beam oscillator 6. The laser beam is projected on the body 1 to be worked via the condensing lens 11 and mechanical chopper 12 by varying the angle by a reflection mirror 10 from the laser beam oscillator 6. With this device the energy at the converging position becomes constant and the whole body to be worked can be worked in uniform shape.
