INFRARED RAYS IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To detect a micro infrared rays radiating capacity, by integrating and outputting the output of respective detecting element in a device in which an infrared rays detector consisting of plural detecting elements, and a mechanical scanning mechanism are combined, during the period of a sampling cycle. CONSTITUTION:An infrared rays image pickup device is equipped with an opti cal system 1 which receives infrared rays, a mechanical scanning mechanism 2, an infrared rays detector 3, an amplifier 4 which amplifies the output of respective detecting element of the infrared rays detector 3, an integrator 5, and a multiplexer 6. By amplifying 4 a signal outputted from respective detecting element of the infrared rays detector 3, inputting it to the integrator 5, holding the signal on which an integration is applied for DELTAT, which is the period of the sampling cycle, and inputting it to the multiplexer 6, the band width of a signal process can be reduced remarkably. The multiplexer 6 selects the output of the integrator 5 in order, and synthesizes one signal. The resetting and holding of respective integrator 5 is controlled by the signal from the multiplexer 6.
