Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To minimize circulation of a magnetic flux between adjoining bypasses and thereby reduce magnetic interference by providing a magnetic channel pattern in which the bypasses of adjoining printing elements are arranged deviated in an armature-moving direction. CONSTITUTION:Bypasses 41a, 41b having a width less than half the pitch of armatures are arranged in a vertically shifted manner between armatures 62 and also in a staggered way so that they may be symmetrical to each other with respect to the armatures. Under this design, the upper bypasses 41a and the lower bypasses 42b are opposed to each other across the armature 62 in their respective groups. Thus a magnetic channel pattern constituting the bypass for each printing element is formed. This enables minimization of a magnetic flux circulation between the bypasses 41a, 41b, and also generates almost no magnetic flux circulation between the bypass (41a or 41b) of a printing element and the armature 62 due to a large gap G between them. Accordingly, if the adjoining printing elements PE-1 and PE-3 are excited simultaneously, the leak amount of each magnetic flux MB-1, MB-3 between the armatures 62-1, 62-3 through the bypass 41a, 41b is insignificant. Therefore, magnetic interference is either reduced or eliminated.
