INSTRUMENT FOR IMMUNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS AND ANALYSIS USING SAID INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To make analysis at a low cost with easy operations for production, preservation, handling and measurement by providing an antibody fixing matrix and label antibody holding matrix on a supporting plate. CONSTITUTION:This instrument has the antibody (or antigen) fixing matrix 11 fixed to the supporting body 13 and dried in such a manner as to obviate the elimination and dissolution of the antibody (or antigen) when the matrix is brought into contact with water or the components in an aq. liquid sample contg. the antigen (or antibody) in the stage of an analysis operation and the label antigen (or antibody) holding matrix 12 held to the supporting body 13 and dried in such a manner as to eliminate and dissolve the label antigen (or antibody) when the matrix is brought into contact with the water or the aq. liquid sample contg. the antigen (or antibody). The matrices 11, 12 and the aq. liquid sample contg. the analyte antigen (or antibody) are brought into contact with each other to cause reaction and thereafter, the label antibody (or antigen) fixing matrix is taken out of the aq. liquid sample and the quantity of the antibody-label antigen conjugate (or antigen-label antibody conjugate) is measured, by which the content of the analyte antigen (or antibody) in the aq. liquid sample is quantitatively determined.
