Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent an optical fiber core from curving sharply and moving without causing deterioration reinforcement characteristics by selecting heating temperature and applied pressure properly. CONSTITUTION:A heater is powered on while pressure P1 is applied to a reinforcing member and the power supply to the heater is controlled when its temperature reaches temperature T4, which is maintained for a constant time. Then, the pressure applied to the reinforcing member is varied from P1 to P2 to the heater is powered on to vary the heating temperature from T4 to T2. When the temperature on the heater surface reaches the T2, the power supply to the heater is controlled to maintain the temperature T2. Then, the heater is powered off and when the temperature on the heater surface varies to T3 by natural cooling, the pressure applied to the reinforcing member is reduced to zero and the reinforcing member is taken out. The temperature T4 is set nearly equal to or a little bit higher than temperature T1 at which a hot-melt adhesive begins to melt. |
