CONSTITUTION:The coating compd. consisting of 36pts.wt. epoxy resin, 36pts.wt. phenolic resin, 10pts.wt. polyvinyl butyral resin, and 600pts.wt. solvent per 100pts. wt. iron powder is thinly and uniformly coated on the substrate consisting of an aluminum disk to form a magnetic film. After the magnetic film is subjected to an orientation treatment, the film is baked and cured for 2hr in a 150-280 deg.C range in a gaseous atmosphere formed by mixing 1% hydrogen with gaseous N2. A method for thermal curing without oxidizing the magnetic metallic powder is exemplified by a method for thermal curing in hydrogen, hydrogen-contg. nitrogen or inert gas. The cured film having the substantial strength of the coated film is thus formed. |
