Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity for sensing the degree of accelerator opening by using a filter with great time constant for the car speed, generating delay in the car speed data, and thereby providing the same driving characteristic as a shift schedule which is determined according to the degree of accelerator opening and the car speed. CONSTITUTION:The stage of shift is determined only according to the car speed, wherein a transfer is made from the 1st to 2nd speed at Point a in normal acceleration and from the 2nd to 3rd speed at Point b, and the same applies to during high acceleration provided that transfers are made at Points c, d. With the flattened car speed date after passage of a nonlinear filter which has great time constant in low speed range and small time constant in high speed range, however, there is a delay for each car speed, depending upon the rate of change of the car speed, so that the amount of delay many differ for different accelerations of the car. This means that one-dimensional shift schedule changes according to the car acceleration, and the same operating characteristic is provided as in normal shift schedule even in the shift schedule only for car speed. |
