Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To effectively carry out sterilization of bacteria and colon bacilli in water and oxidation of org. and inorg. matter by ozone by providing a shielding body between an UV sterilizer and an ozone stirring device both of which are furnished in the same main treating device body. CONSTITUTION:The UV sterilizer 14 for irradiating UV rays into water and the ozone stirring device 17 for spouting ozone into water are housed in the same main treating device body 11. The shielding body 20 for shielding UV rays which is partially protruded above the water surface is furnished between the sterilizer 14 and the device 17. The water in the main body 11 is treated with ozone by the device 17 and then treated with UV rays of the device 14. Consequently, ozone is never photolyzed, and sterilization of bacteria and colon bacilli, and oxidation of org. and inorg. matter can be effectively carried out.
