When the engine temperature is lower than a predetermined level and a start switch 18 is turned on, a switch 15 is turned on to produce the heat so as to bring the temperature of the spring 7 to a level higher than the transformation point thus moving the spring in the fuel incremental direction. Consequently, the starting performance of an engine can be improved.
