Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin giving stable hydrophilicity for a long period without impairing the excellent physical properties inherent in aromatic polysulfone polymer, consisting of specific block polymer with a hydrophilic compound connected through covalent bond to the terminal of an aromatic polysulfone polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin consisting of block polymers of formulae II and III (l is 0 or 1; m and n are each integer >=1) with a hydrophilic compound (pref. a water-soluble oligomer or polymer constituted by 1-30 recurring units, e.g., gelatin, or at least one hydroxyl group-contg. compound such as formaldehyde) connected through covalent bond to the terminal of an aromatic polysulfone polymer ( pref. constituted by recurring unit of formula I). USE:Particularly, raw material for thin film to form separation membranes such as reverse osmosis ones.
