COOLING SYSTEM OF VOICE COIL MOTOR

PURPOSE:To fabricate a small-sized product of long durability by providing a passage leading the cooling fluid to the wire of a coil of a voice coil motor that moves under the interaction with the magnetic field when the wire-wound coil is electrified. CONSTITUTION:A passage 3 to let the fluid flow to whole or a part of a wire 1 forming a coil 4 is provided, to which cooling air or liquid is led to cool the whole coil 4. As the fluid, air, water, oil or Freon are used. Thus the temperature rise is so prevented as to contribute the miniaturization, long durability and power saving of coil itself. This cooling system is suitable for a voice coil motor of a magnetic disc device.
