DEFLECTION OF AIRFLOW DIRECTION OF AIR-CONDITIONING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To improve the comfortable property of a living space employing an air-conditioning machine, by a method wherein the blow-off air of the machine is changed from horizontal distribution into downward distribution upon starting the heating operation thereof and, finally, is concentrated downward. CONSTITUTION:The title air-conditioning machine drives a fan 16 in a low speed and a compressor 17 in a high speed upon starting the heating operation thereof while deflecting an airflow deflecting vane 1 horizontally and the airflow deflecting vanes 5a, 5b leftward and rightward. In this case, the blow-off air of the machine is distributed horizontally so as not to collide against a human body directly. When the temperature of the blow-off air is increased in some degree, the fan 16 is driven in a high speed and the deflecting vane 1 is deflected downward to distribute the blow-off air downward and collide the same air against the human body indirect. When the temperature of the blow-off air is increased further, the compressor 17 is driven in a low speed and the deflecting vanes 5a, 5b are driven oppositely to concentrate the blow-off air downward and collide at against the human body directly. The rise-up time of the heating operation is shortened by heating the wall surfaces of a room at first and temperature distribution in a living space is uniformized is such a manner.
