PURPOSE:To make a lot of tools stowable in a small space so well, by installing a tool housing drum where holding plates holding plural tools around are installed at plural stages top and bottom free of rotation, and making it delivered in a space between a tool transfer device and the drum. CONSTITUTION:A tool housing drum 17 is provided with a frame 17a whose whole body is formed in a cylindrical form, and toroidal tool holding plates 20 and 20 are attached to an outer circumferential part of the frame 17a at two stages top and bottom. And, a Y-shaped tool holding groove 20a is radially formed in an outer circumferential part of each of these tool holding plates 20, while an interval between adjacent tool holding grooves 20a and 20a, there is provided with each guide plate 20b. And, when a transfer cylinder 25 or 25' is driven and a piston rod 25a is projected in a K direction, a bracket 27d of a plate 27 so far fitted in and engaged with an engaging groove 25c of this piston rod 25a makes a roller roll on the plate 20, transferring the plate 27 and the supporting tool both onto a support block from the plate 20.
