SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To prevent a Zener diode for resistor trimming from being an obstacle to integration by arranging a P-region of the Zener diode in a diffusion region composing a resistor and providing the Zener diode in the same island as that of the resistor. CONSTITUTION:A P-region is arranged in a diffusion region 2 composing a resistor and an N-region forms a junction with said P-region is formed in an island 1 of a resistor region. The all of Zener diodes for trimming are arranged in the island 1 in the resistor region. In this case, a pad 7 is not arranged on a cathode 4a side of the Zener diode. To eliminate a part R1 of a resistor R, it is enough to break a Zener diode Z1 and to eliminate the whole resistor R, a Zener diode Z2 should be broken. The enhancement of the number of Zener diodes offers more minute trimming. As a result, the providing of the Zener diodes becomes not to be an obstacle of integration.
