Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R is H, alkyl, alkenyl, etc.,; R and R are H or alkyl; part consisting of broken and solid lines is single bond or double bond). EXAMPLE:Methyl 2-(1,3-dithiol-2-indene)-2-dimethoxyphosphinyl acetate. USE:A remedy for liver diseases, showing strongly preventing action on liver disorder, preferably being orally administered. PREPARATION:Firstly, carbon sulfide is added to a compound shown by formula II in a polar solvent such as THF, etc., in the presence of an alkyl hydroxide such as NaOH, etc., preferably at 5-70 deg.C. Then, the prepared compound shown by formula III (M is alkali metal) is reacted with a 1,2-dihalogenoethane or trihalogenoethane usually at 5-80 deg.C. 2-3mol alkali hydroxide, 1-1.5mol carbon disulfide and 1-3mol halogenoethane are preferably used based on 1mol compound shown by formula I.
