Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To secure a heat-resistant breather tube passing through a fuel tank such that it is surrounded by the outer skin of the fuel tank in a close contact condition, by integrally forming a fuel tank made of synthetic thermoplastic resin materials by a blow-moulding process, and by utilizing effectively the freedom of thermal deformation of the synthetic resin materials. CONSTITUTION:A fuel tank body 1 having its bottom surface 2, top surface 3 and circumferential surface 4 which are sealed and a fuel supply pipe 5 projecting inclinedly upward from the upper part of one circumferential side surface 4a are integrally formed from synthetic thermoplastic resin materials by a blow-moulding process. Further, a stepped surface part 3a forming an expansion cavity A and a low level surface 3b in the front thereof are formed in the top surface 3. A pipe space 6a in the the projecting root section of the fuel supply pipe 5 is communicated with the cavity A at the low level surface 3b. Further, a breather tube composed of the discharge opening part 6c of the fuel supply pipe 5, the suction port 6a thereof in the expansion cavity A and the linear section 6b thereof is surrounded by the top surface 3 of the fuel tank body 1 in a close contact condition, and are secured thereto by thermal deformation.
