Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent over-load and to improve quality by shortening roll-pitch, by forecasting deformation resistance value for casting slab at upstream side roller apron and adjusting load-limiter preset value at downstream side roller apron. CONSTITUTION:In a casting method under light rolling reduction, a load-cell is integrated in an upstream side roller apron having comparatively high strength, to adjust hydraulic pressure of a cylinder 18 by a relief valve 25 in accordance with this load measured valve. The downstream side roller apron 1 is fitted to an upper and lower frames 3A, 3B, and a roll interval adjusting device 4 and the load limiter 5 is arranged at four corners of the frames. Therefore, over-load at the upstream apron is transmitted to a position 19 adjusted according to a fixed length of a coned disk spring 22 to the load limiter 5. The upper end of a piston shaft 20 is connected integrally to a guide-post 9 of the roll interval adjusting device 4. This post 9 is moved toward vertical direction to move the upper frame 3A vertically, and shorten the roll-pitch.
