MULTITASKING DEVICE FOR SEQUENCE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To control a processor over its detailed part by determining the order of execution on the basis of priority before the execution of a program, and during the execution of the program, starting a program with the highest priority. CONSTITUTION:A sequence program and a general program are inputted to a program input device 60, the sequence program group 51 and general program group 52 inputted from the device 60 and a communication macro 53 for executing the communication and linkage between program tasks in the group 52 are stored in a memory 50 respectively and a sequence processor 40 and a processor 10 executing processing in accordance with the instruction words in the sequence and general program groups are arranged. A scheduler 20 and a dispatcher 30 are connected to the processor 10, the scheduler 20 determines the start and processing order in accordance with the priority of the general program tasks and starts the group 52 on the basis of the determined result and the dispatcher 30 determines the start and processing of the group 52 in accordance with the change of the priority and process control status.
