Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To stabilize coloring in an ortho cresol phthalein complexon method by using a good buffer solution. CONSTITUTION:In an ortho cresol phthalein complexon (OCPC) method, a buffering agent expressed by the formula is allowed to coexist in the presence of OCPC. The substance as expressed by the formula includes 2-(cyclohexyl amino)ethane sulfonate, 3-cyclohexyl amino-1-propane sulfonate and the like. These substances are known as socalled good buffer solutions and especially, 3-cyclohexyl amino-1-propane sulfonate, which is pKa 10.4 (20 deg.C), can provide pH favorable for chelate color formation with OCPC and calcium. The concentration of buffer solution components is effective within a range of 0.01-0.5mol/l.
